The seductive lure of the mysterious message has been the basis for tarot card readings for generations. Susan Wands will explore the magical language of tarot art and its ability to communicate on a higher level than speech. Ms. Wands is the author of Magician and Fool, the first in a series of historical fiction novels exploring Pamela Colman Smith and her involvement with the Golden Dawn. She will discuss the images of tarot as gateways to interpret universal concepts. Vibrations from the archetypal imagery of the cards resonate across cultures in an instinctive interaction. The vibrations between card and the person receiving those vibrations forge an unconscious connection to the world, both seen and unseen. Ms. Wands will track the development of a culture’s popular and recognizable icons, whose vibrations resonate uniquely with every person.
Susan Wands is a writer, tarot reader, actor, filmmaker and producer.
